Some time in every womans life they seem to need a punch recipe. Be it for a baby shower, wedding shower, reception or holiday party a good, easy punch recipe is a good thing to have. I acquired my first punch recipe at my wedding shower, every time I have made it since I think of that night and remember what a good time we had. Funny how we remember the punch from a party if it was good. Here are two recipes for punch that are sure to add to your memories, every party I make them for people always ask for the recipe because they enjoyed it so much.

Racy Red Punch

1 - 46 oz. pineapple-grapefruit drink

1/4 cup red hot cinnamon candies

1/3 cup sugar

1 qt. gingerale

Heat 1 cup of the pineapple-grapefruit drink in a saucepan over medium-low heat, add cinnamon candies and

sugar and stir until dissolved. Combine with the rest of the juice and chill well.

Just before serving pour pineapple drink mixture into a punch bowl and add the gingerale. Stir throughly.

Although this is not an alcoholic punch recipe it is also good when you turn it into one. Add your favorite

alcohol to the amount desired and enjoy!

Sherbet Punch Recipe

2 pkg. pink lemonade Kool-aid

1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice

1 qt. gingerale

Optional - 1/2 lime or pineapple sherbet

Make up the 2 packages of Kool-Aid as per the directions on the packet. Stir in pineapple juice, stir and

chill.

Just before serving stir in the chilled gingerale and then carefully scoop in the sherbet so that it floats

in nice balls on top. Serve immediately.
