Since the meltdown of Charlie Sheen, the producers of "Two and a Half Men" landed Ashton Kutcher as Sheen's replacement. Although Kutcher will not replace Sheen as Charlie on the show, it will be curious how Kutcher will lend his comic relief to the show.
Even though the deal with Hugh Grant fell through, it may have been a better deal for the show. Grant, in his own right, can field comedic skits with no issue, but Kutcher will lend a far better deal where the laughs are needed for the show.
At this point, fans of the show are talking about how they feel cannot and will not ever be able to replace Sheen on Twitter. Some of the shows fans feel the show won't work with the replacement of Sheen. Others say they will not be watching the show because of who is now in and who is out.
Since it was not up to the fans of the show who should replace Charlie Sheen, the executives went with Kutcher to fill the hole. "Two and a Half Men" is supposed to resume in the fall on CBS' fall line up as reported by David Bauder Ashton Kutcher lands on "Two and a Half Men."
Angus T. Jones and Jon Cryer will remain in their roles. At this point it is hard to tell if Melanie Lynsky will remain in her role as Rose on the show. In the last season's plot line between Charlie and she, Sheen's character was pursuing Melanie's character this time around.
The latest turn of events with Kutcher replacing Sheen should prove to be interesting with Lynsky's character providing she is not written out. Kutcher's character, whatever that may be, could lend a whole new twist to Rose's, Lynsky's character, stalking habits.
Let's not forget about Conchata Ferrell who plays Berta Charlie's housekeeper. Will Conchata's character stay in tact? It has been mentioned in the show at one point if Charlie was to die, he would leave the Malibu beach house along with everything else to her. Will that play a role if the location of the show stays the same?
