As I awoke, something struck my mind.
My homework wasn't finished; I was out of time.
If I didn't complete my lengthy work,
My grade would drop, and I'd go berserk.
I darted to school like a pilot in a jet.
My friend had the answers, and I was set.
I was ready to cheat and about to begin,
But then I started to contemplate my sin.
Two men on my shoulders pondered their choices.
They argued for eternity in loud, angry voices.
Without these two men, I don't know where I'd be.
I decided to stick to honesty.
