TWO PEAS in a POD
People Are Not as Different as They Think They Are
in your fancy new car.
He walks with torn shoes,
though still he walks far.
You walk through the doors
of you big fine home.
He walks to the park
aimlessly, he will roam.
You sit at you table, eat
a feast for a king.
He climbs in the trash
knowing, he'll eat anything.
You head to the store,
to pick up a twelve pack.
He begs on the street,
to buy liquor for his sack.
You drink all your beer,
then pass out on the couch.
He drinks the liquor fast,
then he will slouch.
You wake in the morning
head aches, but still perform.
