Dr.Scholls has been around for a while with products to help everything from foot pain to warts. One product that can help reduce pain from the workday is the Dr.Scholl's Massaging gel inserts. The cost is around $10.00 a pair depending on where you shop. You'll have to cut down the insert to fit the shoe size properly.
Make sure the gel is facing down in the shoe. At first it may feel awkward having the insert in the shoe but at the end of the day you'll feel the difference. The gel is firm and helps absorb shock with every step. There's less arch aching and less back strain. As far as feeling the gel, I didn't feel it all that much during the day massaging my feet. This product comes in women sizes 6-10 and men sizes 8-13.
Another product that can help relieve aching feet is the Conair whirlpool massaging foot spa. It currently costs $29.95 at Wal*Mart but that may change. It's a basic looking foot bath that has a white colored body and a green protector covering to help from water splashing out. It contains 4 water jets for massaging and 3 settings to relax feet. There's bubbles, heat and massage. The heat doesn't actual heat up water but rather maintain the water's temperature.
There's also 2 loofah disks to help exfoliate the feet and massaging rollers that are under the water. You can remove these rollers. I did since they didn't feel too good against my feet. Also there's 3 pedicure attachments that can be easily removed. These attachments weren't used. The bubbles do feel nice floating around aching feet and the heat is especially nice on cold winter nights. Since there's an option of having all 3 styles on at once, I tried it out. Having the massaging on with bubbles and heat left cold patches of water surfacing around the aches of the foot. Hot and cold at the same time wasn't exactly the most relaxing feeling.
To remove the water you simply pour it back out. You may want to put a towel under the area of the foot bath since the water still does splash out a little bit. It's an okay item but if I had to choose only one, I'd go with the massaging gel insoles. They may not provide warm floating bubbles but they do help all day with the pain.
