• Pillsbury Thin Crust Pizza Crust
• Oscar Mayer Bacon - Real Bacon Bits and Pieces
• Armour Sliced Pepperoni
• 8 oz can of Hunt's Tomato Sauce
• 1 bag of Mixed Italian shredded cheese
• Dill Weed
• Chili Pepper Flakes Crushed Red Peppers
• Garlic Powder
• Oregano
• Parsley
• Rosemary
• 1 Cookie Sheet
• Pam Baking Spray
Directions
• Pre-heat oven to temperature on the back of the packaging.
• Spray cookie sheet with Pam baking spray
• Unroll the pizza crust and spread it so the entire pizza pan is covered
• Open can of tomato sauce and spread down the middle of the crust length wise.
• Take the various spices and sprinkle on the sauce. I like to start with the Garlic Powder and put a fine layer on top of the sauce. Too much and you're going to have an overpowering taste of Garlic. Once I get the garlic on, I like to throw on a very small amount of Rosemary and Dill Weed then I'll do an even amount of Oregano and Parsley. You don't want to much of any of the spices; remember a little goes a long way. The red pepper flakes hold on to.
• Next take your cheese and sprinkle a thin layer on your sauce and spice mix. Don't use it all yet!
• Take your bacon and your pepperoni and place evenly throughout your layer of cheese.
• Take your cheese and put another layer on top of your bacon and pepperoni.
• If you have any toppings left over, put another layer on top of the cheese.
• Take the remaining cheese and cover all topping.
• Next take the long sides of your crust and fold up. Make sure that the sides overlap in the middle.
• Gently press down along the seam of the dough sealing it completely. At each end, press down and close toppings in completely.
• Bake in oven; watching until golden brown all the way around. Prior to serving, make sure the entire Stromboli is cooked. Because this is sealed, parts may be doughy. Just put back into the oven and check frequently.
• Once the Stromboli is done, Enjoy!
• The two toppings I suggested are just that - a suggestion. Any topping will work in this; though if it is something like pineapple or ham, you may want to rethink using the tomato sauce and go with a more cheese based sauce. And you are not just limited to two toppings either. Make it with four or five; just remember that too many toppings inside the Stromboli may make it less enjoyable.
