Two Under Two - a Journey Through Life & Motherhood: I'm Such a Evil Person LOL (April 28, 2007)

J. Matthison
I admit it - I'm evil. Why you may ask? Well this morning, a lady called for my husband (he takes care of her yard work and has been for almost 20 years) and I didn't answer the phone. I deleted the number from the Caller ID so he wouldn't find out she called. My reason? Because for once, I wanted to spend a nice Saturday with just my husband and kids.

Considering he works all the time, and then does side work on the weekends, I decided that this weekend was mine. Do you think that was a little too evil?

She will call back - she always does.

So let's see, today we are planning on doing a little shopping and then maybe go fishing! That is one thing I love to do. I never did like to go fishing but ever since I met my husband, I have started to enjoy it.

Writing with Associated Content has been going great. I have actually been able to get some articles/news done. I would like to get at least 5 articles/day done but with two kids, I'm struggling.

My grandmother is still in the hospital. She is getting better though. Her kidneys are not functioning but they said they should start back soon. The reason she was in the hospital is because she developed colitis diverticulitius (I might have not spelled that right). Anyways, it is a serious infection in her colon. If things don't clear up, they will be forced to remove 90% of her colon. She is 81 years old and like my aunt said, she is not going to put her through that. So prayers needed my way!

Well my hubby is gone to pick up Burger King, and as soon as he comes back, we are going to head out.

Have a great day!

+++ TODAY'S QUESTION OF THE DAY +++

    I couldn't live without my husband and my mother. One day I know I will probably have to live without my mother, that saddens me. As for my husband, we used to wish we could die together. But that was before we decided to become parents. Now we just don't think about it at all.

    I couldn't live without my faith or my family. Those are my rocks, especially my husband!

    I have a 3 and a 4 year old they are 11 months apart in age, after a while it actually becomes easier to get things done because they play with each other. I noticed that when they were 2 and 3 things got a lot easier for me. So hang in there and write your articles when they are asleep thats what I did in the beginning :)

    This probably isn't what you're looking for, but I really doubt I could live without tacos. :-)

    I'm saying 'faith' too. Everything else revolves around that. And I took the phones completely out of the house. Our home time is family time. :)

    I couldn't live without my faith. I need to have faith, it gets me through a lot of tough times. Sure there are some material items that I would miss dearly, but none as much as faith. I hope your grandma gets better really soon. I don't think your evil for wanting a day with your hubby. Like you said she will call back.

    I want to say my computer but truthfully I could live without it. My cat perhaps, but no, I love him greatly but if I lost my cat I'd survive. I don't think there is truly anything that I could not LIVE without. Happiness, maybe. You were probably thinking of actual things but as much as I love my things they are just things and we can live without them. Happiness though is crucial. I couldn't live my life without it. Maybe that's why depressed people sometimes commit suicide. Happiness is a vital part of life and it can be wonderfully contagious so here's a smile for you, :) Have a happy day!
