Two Visions of Discovery
Darkening skies,
Sudden chills across my spine,
Eyes peering behind shadows,
Too many cries of hopelessness,
Deepening visions,
Masking doomed memories,
Painful,
Hurtful,
Memories,
Suddenly, without warning,
A blinding light,
Scarlet horse across the sky,
Enlightenment,
Wisdom,
Faith,
And redemption.
Life's lessons,
Journey into the unknown specter,
And surviving another day,
FREEDOM!
