Two Ways to Raze Obama: You Were Never Born Here & Knock Granny Off Health Care Reform

Yesterday, I heard this rather interesting phrase coming out of the mouth of Dr. Nancy Snyderman on MSNBC when she was trying to clarify President Obama's health care reform plan.

Knock Granny Off Health Care Reform.

I really like Dr. Nancy. For one thing, she hales from my city of Fort Wayne, Indiana. You have to hand it to her with a handicap like that. And, she really does have a way with words! A talent, many people from Fort Wayne are blessed with!

To be honest, I think it is hilarious to the extreme, that the opponents of anything Obama is doing are reaching towards each end of the life cycle to destroy his policies.

On the beginning end, you have the 'birthers'. These are the mental cases, like Orly Taitz who continue to rant that Obama is not a citizen of the United States. These people have even gone so far as to forge a birth certificate to 'prove' he is not an American citizen. Did anyone ever ask Dwight D. Eisenhower or John F. Kennedy if they were United States citizens? Or Don Ho, for that matter? Brother!

And at the other end, you have the 'deathers'. These are the frantic health care opponents who want the American public to believe that Obama's health care will end up making you put people down- you know, just knock em off. Kind of like, a do-it-yourself kick the bucket type thing.

My favorite propaganda commercial so far is the one where this quite elderly couple is sitting at their kitchen table reading a document. The man is close to tears as he reads the document to his sob-filled wife. "Look at this, they state in this document that they won't let me have my surgery to install a new hip, but they WILL pay for abortions." His wife's eyes well with tears as she shakes her head somberly.

My next to favorite news bite on this subject was the Congresswoman from wherever. It doesn't matter, because she is crazy. This woman stood in front of the United States Congress and stated that Obama's Health CARE Plan was designed to kill off seniors.

If I believed any of this I would probably be getting a little shaky. After all, I am no spring chicken. And, I don't want the government putting me to sleep. No sirreee!!!

It appears that what we have here is an organized effort by a bunch of rich corporations, and no doubt, the Republican Party, itself, to discredit the President by using hot button issues like having an immigrant for a President and killing off grandma and grandpa as a health care reform utility.

Well, if you are going to be crazy you might as well cover the whole life cycle. What an accomplishment!
