I love to watch people
I love to watch their complexities
I love to watch the brawls, conflicts, struggles, pleadings
I love to watch the affection, warmth, love and caresses
It's a vast world of differences and likelihood
It's a vast world of connectivity and estrangement
So many faces, so many minds, souls
So many identities, distinctiveness, uniqueness
I love to watch their complexities
I love to watch the brawls, conflicts, struggles, pleadings
I love to watch the affection, warmth, love and caresses
It's a vast world of differences and likelihood
It's a vast world of connectivity and estrangement
So many faces, so many minds, souls
So many identities, distinctiveness, uniqueness
Then there is another world
Inside my heart where I dwell with my solitude
Silent, placid, tranquil, serene and peaceful.

Post a CommentYou have expressed yourself very nicely here
Our concious awareness sits on the awareness of the outer and inner worlds. We spend considerable time analysing, appreciating and sometimes trying to make sense of the meaning we attach to the feelings generated. Then we turn inwards in seek of the solace and the quiteude and peace which we do not seem to find in the outer world. By conciously understanding the meanings during these periods of reflection do we start gaining control on our thoughts and feelings.
It's lovely and very well expressed Mimpi. Thanks for sharing this.
This was beautiful and the peacefullness reflected in the last three lines was awesome!!!!!!
There's nothing like inner peace.
So many people struggle within themselves, no small wonder we live in a corrupt world full of greed and selfishness.
This poem is but 'me' and all who have appreciated this have appreciated my inner self. Thanks all.
I like this and I am very observant of others, yet I am very expressive. Perhaps I need to just observe and be quiet like a lot of others I know...
