Two-Year Old New Jersey Boy Left Strapped in Car Overnight

A two-year old boy, Adonis, was sent to the hospital after being left strapped in a car seat overnight, and the father of the boy is now in custody, awaiting charges of child endangerment.

The police reveals that the father, Daniel Ribot, 32, took his son to his second birthday party on Saturday night in Paterson, New Jersey. Once the celebration came to an end at about 2:30am, Luz Marie Ramos, mother of Adonis, walked Ribot and Adonis out to Ribot's black Lexus, and strapped the boy in a car seat. The father, Daniel Ribot was supposed to drive his son back to the family home where Ribot's mother (Adonis' grandmother) also lives. Instead, Ribot parked at an auto body shop about a half-mile away and left Adonis inside the car. Ribot then walked the rest back home. Once he arrived, he couldn't find his keys so he pressed the doorbell until his mother woke up.

"I said, 'Why are you ringing the bell?'" said the mother of Daniel Ribot, Agustina Ribott. "I said, 'Where did you leave the car?' I said, 'Where's the baby?' He smiled and just went upstairs. I figured maybe the baby's with his mama."

Next morning, Daniel Ribot awoke and panicked once he did not see his son sleeping beside him, and couldn't find his car outside. He telephoned the police in Clifton (which was the area he and his son lived in), who then called the police in Passaic. Ribot told the police how he had no memory of what occurred last night.

The police, grandparents and the mother of Adonis searched together and found the car at 11:30 a.m at the intersection of Broadway and Martin in Passaic. Authorities reveal that the boy was screaming, sweating, sunburned, and dehydrated. The car windows were rolled up, if the temperatures were a bit more hot, the situation could have been much worse.

"He loves his son. They're inseparable," said Ribot's mother, Agustina Ribott. "This really hasn't hit me yet."

Security officers at St. Joseph's reveals that the little boy was checked out of the hospital and released to Adonis' mother, Luz Marie Ramos, who will care of the boy until further notice. Adonis was kept for most of the day for observation and said that the boy is doing much better now.

Police are now investigating if the father was drunk last night. Currently the remorseful and devastated father, Daniel Ribot, is being kept in custody.

I think it was aliens! Yes, laugh if you want. But you never know. The man was prolly abducted, and lost some time, and was brain washed into 'just going home', and the poor kids was left out of the alien instructions. Damn, them aliens!

I heard about another person who left their kid in the car and went to work and the kid died. I still do not understand how you could forget your kid. Even if you are drunk.

Drunk, or crazy. He needs to be assessed. That is not normal behavior, even for child abusers.

This is when I pray God provides some corrective action to people. You know, He has a funny way of fixing things. Floods. Plagues. Possible allergic reaction to alcohol that develops overnight.

Surely he wouldn't have done this if he hadn't been drinking. Oh my gosh. Good report - thanks.
