FHI brings on the heat with their hair styling products. Runway-geared flat irons meet salon-grade hair dryers and curling irons, stylist accessories and cutting shears get caught in the mix. Stylists can get their whole lineup of hair accessory products from this company if they so desire '" and can afford to do so.
FHI products don't come cheap. One of their signature flat iron models, Runway, goes for just under $500. Some of their other models, like Kore, Platform and EPS, go for between $130 and $300. Each come in different widths, which you can choose between depending on your needs.
Hair dryers are a totally different animal with this company. Their hair dryers look monstrous and massive, yet they look like they'll get the job done in a matter of seconds. They come in long and short-barreled varieties and let you add attachments as you deem necessary.
Their signature curling iron, Kore, prices in at around $225 and features temperatures up to 410 degrees. The barrels are anodized and heat up via the ceramic heater. It's built with a number of technology types that boggle your mind to think about but that you're thankful for when you need to do a runway model's hair or touch up a homecoming queen's updo. This curling iron is also carpal-tunnel friendly and allows for easier clamping than other models.
FHI shears look like nasty beasts, but they snip with precision. Their ergonomically friendly model contours to your hand and finger shapes, allowing for comfortable chops. Just don't get carried away, or you'll be tempted to cut your client's medium-length hair into a pixie in no time flat.
FHI also carries a feature product called Hot Sauce. This jojoba-infused treatment is designed to moisturize hair before treating it with heat. The brand also sells combs, hair clips and accessory kits for carrying all your tools.
