Are you a university student who has the desire or need to study with other students? If so, you need to find the right people to do it with. You will learn what to look for in a college study group.

First Type of People to include: You must include those who almost always attend class. They should be of the most help.

Second Type of People to include: You should include those who take good notes. They can help lead the way.

Third Type of People to include: It is helpful to have a mixture of those who are making good grades and those who are making bad grades. After all, those who are struggling can benefit from working with those who are doing well.

Fourth Type of People to include: You should only add those who are eager to study with others. Those who are not can drag the rest of the group down.

Fifth Type of People to include: It is vital to include those who are easy to get along with. Those who cause friction or dissent can make it very hard for the others to successfully work together.

Sixth Type of People to include: It is helpful to add those who have the ability to think critically. They can make it easier for the rest of the unit to get a better understanding of their material.

Seventh Type of People to include: It is vital to only include those who are willing to actively participate in the discussion. Those who just sit there can waste the time of the others.

Eighth Type of People to include: You need to have at least one person who fits the mold of being a leader. He or she can take charge and lead the discussions.

Ninth Type of People to include: You must only have those who are reliable. They must be people you can count on to always show up to the get-togethers and bring all of the necessary materials.

Tenth Type of People to include: It is important to include those who are the most available. Everyone must be able to come at a particular time with no trouble.

Eleventh Type of People to include: Everyone involved must be caring. They must care enough to make sure the others can understand their textbooks and what is going on in the group discussion.
