Tyra Banks is Jealous of Oprah

In a hilarious segment on the Tyra Banks Show, host Tyra fails a lie-detector test. In it, she reveals a secret. She's jealous of Oprah Winfrey!

Now, this revelation isn't a total shock. It's been whispered that she wants to be just like this talk show maverick. However, nobody thought it was to the point that the green-eyed monster would rear its ugly head. After all, isn't Tyra a success in her own right?

Tyra is an ex-Super Model. She currently has two top-rated shows (America's Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show). Plus, she's known to have dated some of the hottest men in the world (Seal, Tiger Woods, Rick Fox, Kobe Bryant). So why is she so jealous?

Tyra is jealous because the big O has beat her out in certain areas of life. Eventually, Ms. Banks will probably meet a few. However, it will take a few years. Here's what I am talking about...

OPRAH IS SUPER RICH.

We all know that Tyra isn't broke. However, Oprah is so rich that Jesus is probably borrowing money from her. According to Forbes, Oprah is worth an estimated $260 million. Tyra Banks income? About $7 million. The figures speak for themselves. No wonder Tyra is a little upset.

SHE'S GOT A STEADY FREDDY.

For years, Oprah struggled with getting a steady Freddy. But then, she found Stedman Graham. Reports vary, but the two have been walking arm and arm for over 20 years. Regardless of the rumors, it's obvious that they are in love. On the other hand, Tyra Bank's longest love (to date) appears to be basketball player Chris Webber. Popular Website Who's Dated Who estimates they were together for three years. So, basically, Tyra hasn't met that special someone who'll take her breath away. She's still on the look out.

HER TV SHOW IS MORE POPULAR.

Although Tyra Banks' has two TV shows, her popularity and influence doesn't even touch Oprah. As a matter of fact, if Banks thought she might catch up to her mentor one day in viewers, she has to drop that dream temporarily because the big O has found a way to multiply it. Yes! So basically, there's no way for Tyra to catch up to Oprah because once she gets one foot in the door, Oprah just slams it shut.

OPRAH GETS MORE RESPECT.

Although she often talks about difficult subjects, Tyra doesn't garnish the same level of respect as Oprah does on her talk show. Media shows like Talk Soup and The Best Week Ever, often rag on Bank's hosting ability and demeanor. No matter what, she's the butt of the joke. Oprah is also discussed on these shows as well, but not at the same level of hilarity. Overall, Oprah just gets more respect.

In conclusion, Ms. Banks has a lot of reasons to be jealous of Oprah. Very few people in the world have ever reached her level of success, even high profile people like herself. So, her feelings are not unusual. They're mainly just funny because they were revealed on TV.
