Tyreke Evans Speeding Video Released, Shows NBA Star Going 120 MPH!!! (VIDEO)

Tyreke Evans is a speed demon on the court, but that isn't the only place! It seems the 20 year-old Sacramento Kings player and NBA Rookie of the Year was caught on video speeding down Interstate 80 at at least 50 miles over the speed limit.

According to the Huffington Post, the Tyreke Evans speeding video was apparently shot from a police radar plane over Memorial Day weekend before he was arrested on reckless driving charges. You can watch the entire Tyreke Evans speeding video, linked right here after the jump!

Tyreke Evans Speeding Video Released By California Highway Patrol

Though Tyreke Evans has already pleaded no contest to the reckless driving charge, and the entire incident (which police feel was a case of street racing) played out months ago, people are still very interested to check out the Tyreke Evans speeding video for themselves. Voices on the official California Highway Police Tyreke Evans speeding video narrate the entire incident. CHPS began monitoring Tyreke Evan's car when the airborne CHPS traffic plane pilots noticed "two vehicles racing on westbound I-80" and noted the cars were "using all lanes" at speeds of at least 110 miles per hour. At one point, the vehicles thought to be racing split up. When a motorcycle police unit finally caught up with "the leader" of the highway racing incident and made contact with the driver of the dark purple Mercedes. The officer held Tyreke Evans at gunpoint until back-up arrived, where he and a passenger were then ordered out of his vehicle at gunpoint. Tyreke Evans was arrested immediately (see video here).

Due to the Tyreke Evans speeding video, which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Sacramento Kings rookie was disregarding the law and endangering everyone else on the road with him, Evans pleaded no contest. He was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, enrolled in mandatory driving classes and had his license suspended for 30 days.
