UFC Glory of Anderson Silva

Anderson Silva, better known as "Spider" is the ultimate UFC fighter. Weighing in at 205 pounds at 6"2, his moves are quick and lethal. Silva's career is highlighted not only by the accomplishment of winning his first seven UFC fights hands down, but by his professional boxing and mixed martial arts background. This is one of the most impressive fighters to arise on the scene for a long time.

At the age of 34, this Brazilian fighter has had no problem establishing a reputation for himself. Silva holds several titles, including the titles of MECA Champion, Cage Rage Champion, and the UFC Middleweight Champion. In addition to these titles, he also has the ranking of a Jiu-Jitsu black belt. When making his main debut more than nine years ago, this fighter was dismissed by many. Some even referred to him as being overrated. As his record will show, this guy is tough and well rounded. Silva's fighting moves do the talking for him.

Talks of Silva returning to boxing has been eminent in recent months. He has already done so much during his career that you wander if there is much more that he can possibly accomplish. The word on the street is that Spider is moving on up into the light heavy weight championship for his next upcoming fight. However, several sources have claimed that the Spider may want to get back to what he loves, boxing and martial arts. There are still plenty of titles for this fighting superstar to grab up and he will undoubtedly raise the bar for his fellow competitors.

So, what can we expect from the great Spider next? Although there have been talks of retirement, something tells me that we will be seeing much more of Anderson Silva and his moves. This is not only because he is contracted for at least six more fights, but once a fighter, always a fighter. I believe that he will do whatever it takes to hold onto his title of UFC Champ.
