UFC Live Results: Main Card Upset

Amir Sadollah was one of the more promising UFC prospects, but now his career is being re-evaluated because of a tough loss result at UFC Live on Versus 5: Lytle vs. Hardy.

Sadollah ran up against a kickboxer perhaps even better than him for the first time in his career. Duane "Bang" Ludwig managed to rock him in the first round and he also controlled the fight much of the way in what eventually became a back-and-forth muay thai-style slugfest.

"Bang" rocked Sadollah with counter-lefts for the early part of the fight and managed to hang onto his lead for a unanimous decision win. The scores on the cards of all three judges were 29-28 in favor of "Bang."

A front kick to the face was a solid highlight for Sadollah later in the fight but he was outstruck in general after dominating opponents in that department for most of his career.

Next up, Ludwig and Sadollah will both try to continue to climb the welterweight ladder but both are not in the best position in the division.
