UFC on Versus 2 Results: Big Knockout a Highlight

Big Upset in San Diego

The UFC on Versus 2 main event is happening right now and one of the early results is pretty surprising to many fans and bettors.

In the first televised fight, Takanori Gomi, aka The Fireball Kid, knocked out favored Tyson Griffin. Griffin went to try a kick but got clipped by a jab and then Gomi unloaded on him with a massive right hand that he brought back from a long ways away seemingly.

Griffin was trying to wiggle around a bit on the ground to get in a position to get away but the ref jumped in and stopped the fight at the 1:04 mark.

It was a big win for Gomi but Griffin was so upset about the stoppage that he didn't acknowledge him after the fight.

Griffin thought it was an early stoppage but he appeared wobbly and not all there in the head while arguing after the fight.

Other UFC on Versus 2 results:

More to come from UFC on Versus 2 as more results pour in.
