UFO-Alert! Do They Really Excist?

MJ
I have read all the right books and seen all the documentaries about the subject of UFOs. Since I have done all the research on the subject, you don't have to.

The problem is: all these people have no doubt "seen"something. They certainly believe they have. So where does this UFO-idea come from?

Right up to the second Worldwar there is hardly any documentation on the subject of UFOs. Apparently "aliens" were reported to have spoken to humans, but they looked like us, with long white hair, a bit Nordic perhaps. According to the story they were gathering herbs. Fighter-pilots noticed strange lights and objects in the sky during WWII but although it frightened them, they seem to have had no contact. After WWII the stories really started. Around the time of Star trek, but this must have been a coincident. Folks were "beamed up" while asleep, (although their bodies stayed in bed), people flew right through the walls in order to get to the flying saucer, parked on their driveway, extra-terrestrial parking-lights flashing.

The first thing I don't understand is: why don't these people take their video-camera with them on such a trip. They seem to tape everything else these days; you can even watch their whole life laid out on the Internet! Even a photo-camera of $20 would do the trick. Instead I had to go through books of drawings, and bad drawings at that. Apparently since lets say the 1980's all aliens look as if they share the same gene-pool. Would there be an Inter Galactic Inbreeding thing going on?This would explain why they have no hair and look so weird! And I ask myself: what happened with the kind Nordic aliens? Don't they like us earthlings anymore? I never received any notice of this, they might have moved to a far removed planet; which, once you have visited Planet Earth, is understandable.

The flying saucer is easily explained. The US Military around the fifties was developing all sorts of planes(and they still are) This was no secret and a little boy copied the model and made a picture of it, and called it "a flying saucer" because that was how it looked like. Since then this was, to people's minds the most popular shape. But if you believe in aliens, you'll have to think of this far away planet with only one factory producing one type of aircraft. If they are so intelligent, you would think that they would come up with something more up-dated. Also, what reason do they have to travel to our planet? Some argue to "take over our planet and recourses".Again, an intelligent life-form would have a leader, and that leader would seek out our leaders. Or go to war, which over all these years has not happened. We are too good at creating chaos ourselves.

Since mankind started, we have known fear. The Huns had their god Wodan (we named Wednesday after him) and he was the god of thunder. The Egyptians had their own gods and Hades to fear. All these Ancients had their own gods to be afraid of. When Christianity started we became afraid first of God, then the Devil. The Middle-ages was a scary time. During the 19th century people were fascinated by and terrified of ghosts. But no sign whatsoever in any form of shape of aliens and UFOs!

Since all the terrorist-attacks I have not heard a lot about UFOs. Because we have something else to be very scared about these days. Aliens are not as close to home as terrorists. So, could it be that aliens don't exist? That they are simply something to be scared of when we have nothing else on our minds? Anyway, I make those aliens a deal: land on my front-lawn in the next fortnight or so and I'll take a picture. I'll even publish it right here on AC!

I never knew I could write until I joined AC. I paint, I write, love animals and ironing. (no not the last one but it looked better).  View profile
