Could UFOs be monitoring NYC? Thus far no official explanation has been given for the flying objects that caused people to stop and stare in amazement at the UFOs.
The FAA Has No Information about the Possible UFOs
The Federal Aviation Administration has reported that it saw nothing unusual in the sky at the time people were calling in about the possible UFOs over New York City.
The NY Daily News reports that after people on the street saw the object they were tweeting on Twitter about a book written by a former NORAD officer which stated that "UFOs would buzz the earth's major cities on Oct. 13th."
Is the some eerie prescience or just a silly prediction that wasn't true? The NYC Police had not been notified of any unusual flights over the city. They too cannot give an official explanation for the strange possible UFOs in the sky over NYC.
Tim Powell described the object in the sky to the NY Post: "It looked like a jellyfish made of lights that just hovered in the sky like it wanted to be seen. I was half expecting the aliens to beam down and introduce themselves."
Do You Believe in UFOs?
I don't really believe in UFOs. However, it may be egotistical for humans to think we are the only form of higher life in the universe. Who knows there could be life on other planets that is more advanced than we are.
But in terms of objects over NYC, I'd be more likely to think it was some government monitoring device to protect against terrorism than a UFO. Who knows, perhaps with time the public will be informed what the unusual objects over the sky of NYC really were.
