The glossy & attractive pictures of CGI (computer generated imagery) Transformers characters always inspire me to comment on them. I am so dissatisfied with how Megatron looks like in the new CGI Transformer movie that I am going to write about it again.
The icicle robot appearance of Megatron is bad as I had mentioned before & the Alien Icicle Jet Megatron which he transforms into is no less realistic. I am starting to ponder that a giant WW2 German handgun would not have been a bad idea by the movie designers after all.
I do not know which alien planet did the Megatron alien jet design originate from but it must have been from a place that has a disregard for aerodynamics. Megatron's Alien Jet form in the CGI (computer generated imagery) Transformer movie looked like it was going to break into pieces before breaking the sound barrier.
The actual Megatron Transformers toy does not look safe either. Let us hope that Megatron can morph into a more realistic form, perhaps a B2 Stealth Bomber or even a Russian SU-35 Terminator in the future Transformers movie sequel.
I just realized that the Autobots Transformers, being cars & all, are very much smaller than their arch enemies; the Decepticon Transformers who take the form of very much larger things. The David versus Goliath scenario for the new CGI (computer generated imagery) Transformers movie is a worrying & even at moments, a ridiculous idea.
In one scene, you shall see a huge F-22 Raptor Decepticon robot named Starscream kicking & hurling cars & other vehicles the size of Autobot Transformers in the CGI Transformers movie. The only competitive Autobot Transformer character in size is of course, the majestic & large long haul truck robot, Optimus Prime. The Autobot Transformers desperately need some larger firepower in the future Transformers movie sequels.
The new CGI (computer generated imagery) Transformers movie is realistic from the understanding of scale. It was acceptable in cartoons to have robots transform from a normal sized hi-fi system into a giant robot but the idea would have been too far fetched in a Transformers movie depicting reality.
Nonetheless, Sound Wave could have come into the movie as a giant concert Speaker System. Now, the idea would have been a real blast! I guess it was not on the new Transformers movie script writer's mind but perhaps in the future. For now, Sound Wave (lets not forget Laser Beak), Megatron's loyal right hand man had been left standing in the dark & absent in the new Transformers movie.
