The Simpson trial
was like watching
a play

Because of a glove
The charges didn't stick
Everything was dropped
Because it just didn't fit

So He wrote himself a book
Called it If I did It
How to kill your wife
and then get acquitted

Over intervening years
in and out of the news
We'd hear about OJ
and his latest boo boos

He didn't quit
while he was still ahead
But at least no one else
ended up dead

This time around
OJ's luck wasn't with him
the jury has said guilty
No chance of aquittin'

Now we're waiting to hear
when his sentence comes down
