Hung Parliament
Awaiting Outcome
The UK General Election voting ended in a Hung Parliament with the Conservatives lacking the majority of seats to form a government on their own. What will be the outcome?
The Labour Party lost 88 seats and the Conservatives gained 93, but it's not enough for them to form a government unfortunately.
Sadly I cast my vote for the Liberal Democrats, who were a good bet to take more seats, but actually lost, since people were obviously doing tactical voting in favour of the Conservatives. My local Liberal Democrat member failed to win and the Labour candidate won over his Conservative rival by less than 200 votes. If only I had voted Conservative...
So right now the UK waits for the final results to come in, and to see who will form the next government.

I was just reading about how Gordon Brown has resigned as Prime Minister following the recent results of the general election. It sounds like there's a lot of chaos going on at home right now.
