Gameplay

After the interesting story plot summary, you are given a choice of game difficulty level. You can choose either Easy, Medium, of Hard. Choosing a higher level of difficulty will get you a higher difficulty bonus at the end of the game if you manage to defeat the Giant King Crab. Once you have picked your difficulty level, the game will go through the controls with you.

Along with your main gun, you are given torpedos and rockets that fire automatically. You also have a laser that fires automatically every so often. Rockets and lasers are homing, while torpedos and your main gun fire forwards. Throughout the game, there will be colored fishies that you can shoot to restock on torpedos and rockets. All other weapons have infinite ammo.

If you feel like having all of those weapons will make the game too easy, don't forget that the Giant King Crab has a few tricks up his sleeve as well. Apparently, the Giant King Crab is half machine (or whole machine) and can shoot lasers, summon monsters, drain the ocean, and a whole host of other things that you can't even imagine.

You are a allowed a few continues if you die. You will continue from where you left off with full life.

At the end of the game, you can submit your score to a global leader board.

Review

Ultimate Crab Battle is a pretty exciting horizontal flight shooter game. It's perfect for anyone wishing to take a short break to help the shark race defeat the Giant King Crab. The game does not take too long, especially if you play it on Easy mode. Medium mode is for those with a little more gaming experience. For those wishing for a bigger challenge, the Hard mode will provide sufficient hurdles of entertainment.

Ultimate Crab Battle scores a 9/10 for great entertainment level and creativity. More weapons and upgrades would make this game absolutely sea-tastic.
