Speculation over who the UFC would pick for the Ultimate Fighter's Season 11 has been running rampant for a while now.

Following the Kimbo Slice/NFL player-centric season 10 of TUF, not many people had a clue as to who the coaches would end up being for season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter.

With one of the UFC's biggest stars coming off of a stint on Dancing with the Stars, Chuck Liddell, and saying he wanted to come back for at least one more fight, the stage was set for Dana White's Ultimate Fighter Season 11 coaches announcement.

UFC Ultimate Fighter Season 11 Coaches Announced: Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz

The coaches for season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter will be Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell.

Liddell has knocked out Ortiz twice but the third match could be different depending on how Liddell bounces back from his long layoff.

Ortiz recently lost a split decision fight to Forrest Griffin in his comeback fight.

Now he will coach vs. Chuck Liddell in what could be an interesting TUF season for UFC purists who enjoy the personality clash between the flashy Ortiz and the no-nonsense Liddell.

For now, however, the UFC is focused on UFC 107 next week which features BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez for the UFC Lightweight Title.

The Liddell-Ortiz TUF show will be for middleweight UFC fighters.
