UltraBrowser is a web browser spun from Internet Explorer. It is a lot smaller in size compared to IE, however, uses more memory. The best thing about UltraBrowser is the side panel which provides you with quick access to many search engines and other sites. The UltraBrowser also opens in new windows and not tabs. If you are a person who often likes to change your brower's themes (skins), this will probably not be a browser you will be fond of. When it comes to themes, this browser fails in that area. There are only a hand full of themes you can download and install to use with UltraBrowser. However, if you don't mind this area, this wouldn't be a problem for you. When you install the browser, you only get the default theme. If you want more themes, you wil have to import more themes from the developer's site. However, installing the themes in UltraBrowser is a breeze. Simply click the theme you want to use, it will be installed in your browser, and your new theme will appear.

UltraBrowser Channels

The channels found in UltraBrowser seems to be the best feature found in this web browser. The channels are very useful if you like to surf the web. Each channel is categorized so you can surf by category. You can open the Channels panel by clicking the Channels icon in the toolbar. The panel will open and in the panel are the channels available. Some of the Channels you will find include Kids, Entertainment, Computers, Family, Food & Drinks, Careers, and Health. There are many more channels available. You can select a channel by clicking it and the websites will expand below the channel. From there, you can click a website you want to visit and it will load in your browser.

As far as the tools found in this browser, there are a few that maybe useful to you. Here are some of the tools you will find in UltraBrowser.

Translator - With the translator tool, you can translate any webpage to the language you choose, if the language is available in the list. Simply place your mouse on the translator tool and you will be able to see the languages that are available.

Messenger - The messenger tool will allow you to sign into different instant messengers and chat right from your browser. If you use more than one instant messenger, you may find this tool useful.

Email - The email tool makes sending links, checking email, and creating email easy. You can set up this tool to allow you to quickly access your email and quickly email links.

Login Form - The login form tool will store your login information for different sites to save you time. If you login to the same sites often, you may find this tool useful.

Overall the UltraBrowser is an ok browser to use, and it would all depend on what you are looking for in a browser. If you are looking for speed and don't need all of the fancy things like themes, this is for you. If you prefer a browser with many options like themes, plugins, etc., this is not a browser for you. If you are not an Internet Explorer fan, stay away.
