The Juice is loose in Bismarck. If you're a University of St. Mary's Marauder, you better get out of the way because Isaac Odim is at it again.

The junior sensation found the end zone 4 more times Saturday afternoon in Bismarck, raising his season total to 15. That number is also the highest amount recorded by any other Division-II running back to date. To complement his rushing touchdowns, Odim also recorded 14 carries and racked up 187 yards, adding another 100 yard rushing game to his streak. For those counting, that is five consecutive. That's every game thus far, and it shows no signs of stopping. Odim's three first half touchdowns proved to be just teasers. After kissing the endzone from distances of 5, 4, and 2 yards, Odim exploded through the St. Mary's defense on the first play from scrimmage in the second half and cruised an easy 59 yards into the end zone. The Bulldog rushing offense proved to be unstoppable. Junior running back Brad Foss added the final Bulldog touchdown on his way to 55 yards on the ground on 11 carries. All this yard work from the UMD backfield made for an easy night for freshman QB Chase Vogler. The true freshman threw up 12 passes, completing five of them for 55 yards. As an added touch, redshirt freshman Dan Dobson also saw his first action as a Bulldog, going 3 for 5 and recording his first 11 passing yards of his career.

On the other side of the ball, the Maroon and Gold proved to be just as dominant. Kiel Fechtekotter led the team in tackles, usurping companion Robbie Aurich's eight game streak holding such a title. Juniors continue to dominate as nose tackle John Kunz credits a career high nine tackles to his stat sheet, and junior cornerback Forest Clements picked off the Maurauder's quarterback. Additionally, freshman free safety Cameron Harper snagged another ailing St. Mary pass for his first collegiate interception.

As the season progresses, the Bulldogs continue to dominate their way through the NSIC. They are a perfect 4-0 in division play, and can boast a 4-1 mark on the season. Their only loss coming in week 2 of their season against a very tough Central Washington team. The win this weekend marks 12 straight for UMD on the road, the longest streak since the 1979 to 1983 seasons, and their 14th consecutive win against an NSIC opponenent. That number is only 1 short of the UMD record.

The Bulldogs look to be right back into championship form as they return their overwhelming rushing attack back to the sanctuary of Malosky stadium this weekend when they face off against NSIC opponent Minnesota State University-Moorhead. Judging by the way things went this past weekend, I would think that Moorhead has much reason to worry. Let's make it 15 straight.
