There are different ways to defend yourself during an assault when you are caught off guard and without any means to protect yourself. Many people are assaulted, abused, or murdered during an attack. Most of these people are unaware of the attack and are not prepared. Learning to protect yourself with your bare hands will give you self confidence to protect yourself.

One way to protect yourself is taking karate, judo, or jujitsu classes. Enrolling in these classes will able you to protect yourself against an attack. You do not always need a weapon to protect yourself. Your hands can be just as deadly as any weapon. Below there are different ways to defend yourself with your hands during an assault or vicious attack.

Temple: The temple is a susceptible vital spot. If you can strike the temple with sufficient force, this can cause your attacker to go unconscious or even cause death. You can not use this technique unless your life is in danger.

Jaw: Whether it be a upper cut or a straight blow to the jaw with sufficient force can knock your attacker out cold or snap their neck, this can be fatal.

Heart: One powerful punch to the heart, this techniques when the punch is powerful enough will cause death.

Growing area: One strong kick to a mans penis can bring a big man down. After he is down a powerful kick to the face will keep him down.

Adam's Apple: One good blow to the Adam's apple can cause your attacker to asphyxiate.

Abdomen: A blow to the abdominal will cause the attacker to bend over holding their stomach. Grab your attacker by the back of the head bring their face into your knee.

Rib Cage: A vicious blow to the rib cage may cause broken ribs or internal bleeding.

Ears: Getting behind your attacker can save your life. Cupping your hands in a clapping motion over your attackers ears can cause the eardrums to burst, causing internal bleeding in the brain. Can be fatal to your attacker.

Kidneys: The kidney has a large nerve that branches off to the spinal cord, this nerve is located just under the skin. One direct blow can cause death.

Upper lip: A large amount of nerves are located in the upper lip. These nerves are close to the skin so one powerful blow to the upper lip can cause extreme pain and unconsciousness.

Most of these techniques can be fatal when blunt force is used and should only be used as a means to protect yourself when you feel your life is in danger.
