Under the Sea

Lisa R. Strong
Underneath aqua waves;
Light shines upon the sand;
Yellow Tan fish swim in schools;
A Star fish washes upon the dunes;
Coral blooms in rainbow colors;
I dream of Atlantis;
Stories of sailors and lovely mermaids;
Clams with white pearls;
Sunken ships filled with treasure;
A map that points the way;
To a pirate's stolen bounty;
Yet in a world far removed from mine;
A mighty Orca calls her pod;
Dolphins playfully circle;
Manta Rays float near the floor;
Jacques Cousteau films play again;
Parts of childhood fantasy;
A fascination with the ocean;
And mysteries which remain unknown;
Embeds themselves to imagination;
And instills deep admiration;
For the Creator of all living things
