The head honcho starts out at Tampa's airport driving a shuttle bus with Kenny. Slipsager complains about learning the ropes, is slow about his business, cusses, and speeds with the shuttle in less than half an hour of working. Kenny wants to be a firefighter, and is also in school, plus isn't afraid to constructively and firmly criticize the Undercover Boss.

In Chicago, the ABM Industries executive washes windows, even though he has a fear of heights. Peter shows him the ropes. Peter not only does work as a window washer, but he has side jobs, and a son who can't really speak. As the scaffolding moves upwards, Henrik Slipsager admits being scared, but begins to get the hang of washing windows on the Season 2, Episode 10 airing of the CBS show...that is, until they proceed further up, when the head honcho demands to be lowered down.

Slipsager cleans windows, the women's toilets, etc., but is rather slow.

Henrik Slipsager then meets Larry, a 9/11 survivor. Larry enthusiastically operates a freight elevator for ABM Industries. The Undercover Boss helps Larry with those duties, including cleaning. Slipsager learns that Larry was a foreman for the company before he had a stroke. After the 9/11 attacks happened, he and his co-workers were taken care of by the company.
