Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 11 Sees Johnny Rockets Head John Fuller Almost Get Exposed Tending Bar in New York City
Flipping Burgers Doesn't Come Easy for John Fuller of Johnny Rockets on Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 11
In New York City, Ajay, the lead cook, shows the head honcho the ropes. He struggles making the tuna salad and the hamburgers, especially with the burger flipping. Ajay is a hip hop/rap/R&B music lover, but wants to learn to play guitar. Ajay makes some mushroom and cheese fries for the two, an off the menu special of his, but the corporation blew off this particular idea. When John Fuller makes a large burger for Ajay, the lead cook isn't impressed with it, saying it was a bit pink, then tossed it out on Season 2, Episode 11 of Undercover Boss.
In Connecticut, the Undercover Boss works at a Johnny Rockets located in a casino. Janice, a server, shows him how to wait on demanding customers. Janice is quite the bubbly person, and is a natural with the customers, and loves to dance, too. She's created her own dance numbers. Taking orders is hard enough, but dancing is even a more daunting challenge for John Fuller. Janice has four kids, and calls herself "the breadwinner of the family," despite having a working husband. Her dream is too see the Grand Canyon, because her late father never got to see it, as revealed on Season 2, Episode 11 of the CBS show.
John Fuller is Recognized on Undercover Boss , Season 2, Episode 11
Back in New York City, at the company's sports-themed drinking establishment, bartender Claudia shows him the ropes in bartending. The in-laws of the franchise owner of that place recognize the Johnny Rockets CEO, but he talks to them privately, and it appears that he won't be exposed outright. But business is slow, so Claudia trains him on making mixed drinks like margaritas, and the two pass out flyers on the sidewalk to drum up business for their late night happy hour. Claudia has been employed by Johnny Rockets for a long time, and sees the company as her family, especially since she comes from a broken home. He meets with the franchise owner (not disguised) to discuss how to get more business, so as to keep employees like Claudia.
At an Atlantic City casino, Tony the food runner thinks it's incredible that someone as big as Fuller is serving customers their food, as revealed on Season 2, Episode 11 of Undercover Boss. The Johnny Rockets top man seems to get the hang of this work, though he's a bit slow. Tony has extensive restaurant experience, and likes the tips he gets doing this particular job. Tony reveals that he assaulted the man who allegedly murdered his daughter, which landed him behind bars for a few years. He was homeless after being released, but got a job at Johnny Rockets, which has helped to turn his life around.
What Goodies Does John Fuller Hand Out on Season 2, Episode 11 of Undercover Boss?
The company executives will be required to go through what the head honcho went through, the first order of business taken care of after Fuller's stint was over. The Johnny Rockets employees are quite shocked to find out who they really worked with. Janice will help implement dance routines (for extra pay) and she and her family get an expense-paid trip to the Grand Canyon, plus $2,000 for each of her kids for college funds. Ajay's idea of the "The Ajay Special" (mushroom and cheese fries) will be test-marketed, and he and his guest got the "red carpet" treatment for the American Music Awards. Claudia gets her rent paid for a year so she'll be more likely to stay during the tough times. On Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 11, Tony gets an expense paid trip with his kids to an amusement park of his choice, plus a $5,000 donation to a children's-related charity in his late daughter's name, plus $5,000 toward housing expenses, which brings the man to tears.
Undercover Boss still has a lot of interesting companies and people focused on, but since Season 1, this show seems to have been losing some of its edge and becoming a bit too predictable. Was having the "villains" a big ingredient in the program's initial great reception? What, if anything, needs adding to keep the show from losing viewership interest?

I saw this show, love Johnny Rockets and he did so right with his employees. I even joined the staff dance line while visiting a Johhny Rocket in PA. Great episode and recap.
