Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 12 Sees Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Kevin Sheehan Dance His Way Silly

Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 12 aired Sunday night on CBS, featuring CEO Kevin Sheehan of Norwegian Cruise Line. He disguised himself as Peter Francis, an unemployed New York City cabbie. But on Season 2, Episode 12 of Undercover Boss, Kevin Sheehan is recognized by one of his underlings. He manages to handle it and rewards the employees he works with very well.

Kevin Sheehan Finds that Ice Skating isn't Popular for Norwegian Cruise Line on Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 12

First, in Maui, on the Pride of America cruise ship, he gets shown the ropes by John, a Deck Repairman, on how to maintain the ship's exterior. He first sprays the ship down with water. Next, Kevin Sheehan of Norwegian Cruise Line whacks some rust off and does some painting, but neither of his efforts satisfies John, a fellow New Yorker. John misses his wife and can't always talk to her, even though she's expecting a child.

From Miami, on the Norwegian Epic, a billion-dollar plus ship with lots of amenities, Jessica of the Recreation Staff shows Kevin Sheehan the ropes of helping people with the repelling wall, which the executive struggles learning how to master, but struggles more when he has to help harness up the climbers on Season 2, Episode 12 of Undercover Boss. The boss notices that waivers have to be signed before the guests can use it, wasting leisure time (for those waivers could've been taken care of on boarding day). They have to help set up the ice skating rink by hauling a couple hundred pieces of ice, which hurts the head honcho's back and it's something Jessica doesn't like either. No one shows up to skate despite their efforts, and overall, it's not popular.

On Undercover Boss , Season 2, Episode 12, the Norwegian Cruise Line CEO is Identified by an Underling

Later, Kevin Sheehan is "identified" by Sylvia just as he's about to do some wait service in one of the ship's restaurants, but the executive still identifies himself by his disguised name. He decides to come clean and ask for Sylvia's help in keeping his Undercover Boss role a secret to everyone else. Sheehan has trouble keeping up with the fast pace of feeding the hungry travelers. But he's impressed with what the restaurant staff does day in and out as revealed on the Season 2, Episode 12 airing. Sylvia isn't happy about the lack of advancement opportunities, especially since she's in the process of completing six full contracts with Norwegian Cruise Line.

Still on the Norwegian Epic, the Undercover Boss works with Michael of the Cruise Staff (social hosting), but must learn some new dance moves so he can teach 1,000 guests the same moves for a nighttime party. They have to put on angel wings for the shindig, but Kevin Sheehan has a good time dancing silly and entertaining on the Season 2, Episode 12 airing. Michael is an actor who has worked in theme parks, and like other staff, misses his family. His mother died of cancer in her 50s, but he held a fundraiser on her behalf for cancer.

What Goodies Does the Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Hand Out on Season 2, Episode 12 of Undercover Boss?

Jessica gets told by the head honcho that the ice skating idea isn't going to be done anymore. She is also put into a management training program. Michael is made the Assistant Cruise Director on the Norwegian Epic, and is given matching funds for future funds he raises for cancer. John, his wife, and his soon to-be-born daughter get to spend time in New York plus John's family and his parents get an all-expense paid cruise. Sylvia has been promoted to Senior Waitress and put on an advisory committee. Sylvia gets to have her wedding on board the ship, which makes her cry on Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 12.

Great job Roy! I don't watch it, but I enjoy reading your recaps on it.

Saw this one, he was a real nervous buffoon as a worker, but he did right by the employees who showed him the ropes. Think every CEO should go undercover.
