Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 2 saw Great Wolf Resorts CEO Kim Schaefer featured Sunday night on CBS. She is the first woman in the program's history to act like one of the lowly cogs in a corporate machine. Kim Schaefer admitted on Season 2, Episode 2 of Undercover Boss about having a hard background as a kid, and worked her way up to be the Great Wolf Resorts head. Even though this head honcho has a family, she is very committed to working a lot. But the experience would change her attitude.

Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 2 saw Great Wolf Resorts CEO Kim Schaefer Clean Up the "Poo Poo"

As alias Chris Miller, the CEO first started at a Grapevine, Texas Great Wolf Lodge, working at the Cub Club. Bree "supervised" Schaefer in learning how to make pizza, and the head honcho had a hard time adjusting to the manual labor. Bree's hard luck story is that her husband was laid off from his job, and so her working is keeping the family afloat, but there are worries about her daughter going to college to be a vet.

On Season 2, Episode 2 of Undercover Boss, the Great Wolf Resorts CEO then went to the busy Grand Mound, Washington property to see Jackie. She wants to check up on the new check-in process for the guests. Schaefer found that there were too many steps for the demanding guests to get checked in, and it was creating a big line. Jackie's story is that she can't spend enough time with her kids because of her schedule and she also has bad knees.

Back at Grapevine, Kelly, the Aquatics Supervisor, showed her the goings on at the water park. Some kid went "poo poo" in the pool, and guess who had to clean it up? She had to clean up other parts of the water park, and found that there's too many tasks on the plate for the employees there amidst hot conditions. Kelly hopes to become a pilot, and his safety consciousness impressed Kim Schaefer.

The Waitress Job Is Too Much for Kim Schaefer on Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 2

At Mason, Ohio, Deanna showed the Great Wolf Resorts CEO the ropes in being a waitress, but the pace and orders of the customers overwhelmed Kim Schaefer. Deanna lost her daughter at age nine in a car accident, and when the Undercover Boss heard it, it brought her to tears, and made her call her own daughter to tell her how much she loved the family.

On Season 2, Episode 2 of this program, the CEO stressed at the board meeting that the check in process needs to be shorter than 10-15 minutes, that the Cub Club pilot program is a success, that the Aquatics area in the resorts needs to be a better work environment, and more rewards need to be provided for the Great Wolf Resorts employees for their hard work (which would be free admission for their families to the water parks as revealed at the end of Undercover Boss).

Now for the goodies, which brought out the tears by the CEO and employees. Kim Schaefer first met with Kelly, and he was given a chairman job for the Aquatics Team (to improve conditions for their workers) and flying lessons. Jackie was given paid time off to have the needed knee surgery and was given a supervisor job with a 7-3 shift to make her schedule more "mom friendly." Bree was made a Cub Club Ambassador with a raise, and her daughter got paid tuition for college. Deanna got a new position as a food and beverage training supervisor plus a six month paid vacation from her second shift so she can be with her family as revealed on Undercover Boss, Season 2, Episode 2.
