Toxins. Your body moves all forms of toxins through your tissues, toward the skin, away from the vital organs. Most of these toxins reach the surface of the tissue, right underneath the layer of skin, and are the next toxins to be eliminated in the bathroom. This is why you may have a bump or ridge underneath your skin for around a day, and then it will disappear. Some of these toxins are pushed through the skin to be eliminated along with all of the dead skin cells on the surface. Some people sweat these toxins out and they have severe itching because of their toxic sweat.
Stimulation of Tissue. Scar tissue is formed when a breach of the bodily system has been created and temporary emergency tissue needs to be created. Scar tissue naturally layers out with toxins and dead skin cells and is replaced by live tissue underneath. However, if your tissue is not receiving enough movement, then toxins, scar tissue and dead cells can remain stagnate and cause itching. Your body initiates this itching to bring on scratching, which will produce necessary movement in the tissue.
Healing. Your body also itches a great deal during healing. If you are particularly in tune with your body, you can discern which kind of itching it is. Healing itching is caused by healthy tissue tightening and releasing right next to the problem area. This action by the healthy tissue is actively moving building materials around to fix the problem and rebuild that area of your body.
Sunshine. Sunshine vibrates the tissue of your body, helps you to release endorphins and moves fluids in and out of your tissues at a faster pace. Sunshine also stimulates lymphatic drainage, which is another form of toxic elimination in your body. People who drink plenty of healthy fluids and exercise daily in the sunshine are receiving movement and regular toxic drainage of their tissues. They itch a lot less.
Massage your body, drink plenty of water and juice, and read that book outside today. Your itching will decrease, your tissues will empty out and your nervous system will get a break.
