Understanding Google Keyword Tool

inding the right keywords to use in your online content can be difficult for those who are unsure of how to go about determining which keywords are most popular and regularly being used in search engines. Keyword tools such as Google Adwords Keyword Tool are making significant differences among the quality and types of visitors that are regularly paying a visit to your website or blog. Learning how to use the Google Keyword Tool is quite simple if you are sure to keep these few things in mind:

To start using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, begin by opening your browser searching for the Google Adwords Keyword Tool by visiting the website (adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer) conduct a search on keywords used for any topic (example: how to plan a perfect wedding.) You will probably be instructed to enter a CAPTCHA security word.

In your search results, the first column will display your search item, followed by another column that displays the amount, if any, of competition that is going on for those specific keywords. In a third column, you will see the volume of searches for those keywords within the current month. The last column is a display of the volume of searches within a twelve month time span.

Keep to mind when writing your content and earning revenue from ads that it is significantly more helpful if your ads use keywords that are relative to the content that you are providing. Your objective here is going to be to make sure you are using ads that pay the best for the specific content that you are generating to visitors of your website or blog.
If you look above your Google Adwords Keyword Tool table, you will see a link that instructs you to choose the columns in which you want to display. Clicking on the arrow will then take you to a list that gives you detailed information that you can include within your table.

To bring up the monetizing part of your keywords, click on the link that is displaying the Estimated Avg CPC (cost-per-click.) Doing this will bring up a display that shows you the amount of money that advertisers are paying out for those keyword placements. If your keywords are not displaying the desired rate that you would like, try examining your keywords and considering other keyword combinations that may be more popular. By merely altering a few words or letters of your search, the revenue from those keywords could be increased significantly.

Before choosing your keywords, use the Google Keyword Tool to determine whether your keywords are widely searched among the internet. The more your keywords are searched, the higher amount of relevance your keywords, the more general traffic your content will receive.

For blog writers or those who write web content, being able to efficiently and successfully use keywords in a way so that they will increase your revenue and visitors for your content, the Google Keyword Tool is an absolute must for meeting your goal head on.
