With politicians talking out of both sides of their mouth, it is hard to understand what types of renewable energy sources are actually suitable for use and which ones are all talk. Naturally, anyone in his right mind would want to know the truth about renewable energies that are supposedly available for everyone to take advantage of. Despite all this interest, there is very little information about renewable energies and the technologies that provide them that are available today. At this point, most of the renewable energy discussion centers around politicians squelching about how badly we need renewable energy, without providing any type of solutions to the current problem, such as wave generators.
Relying on a technology that does not yet exist, or is not ready for prime time is a typical political ploy. By railing against the powers that be and simultaneously promising solutions, politicians can increase their popularity and get attention from around the world, while minimizing the impact on their constituents and the corporations and individuals who ponied up most of the cash in order to get them elected. While campaign finance reform is outside the scope of this article, it is very likely responsible for the stagnation of the renewable energy movement over the years.
As politicians continue to say meaningless things and mindless people continue to follow them, the renewable energy industry continues to make headway and break new ground with innovations in areas such as the wave generator, a simple concept that has been in use for many years, yet sees very little interest from the general public due to its obscurity. Unlike solar panels and windmills, the wave generator is already being used on a large scale around the world and is capable of generating enough juice to consider it ready for prime time.
Naturally the limitations of the wave generator are not easily overcome. If you do not live near an area with waves, the wave generator will not do you any good. As a renewable energy resource, the wave generator is fantastically suited for living off the grid. Simply by floating a wave generator in the water, anyone who has access to waves can generate their own electricity with minimal cost up front. Simply by floating on top of the waves, the wave generator generates all manner of renewable energy without sacrificing the safety of the individuals or the environment. With this extremely effective model, it seems like the wave generator would solve everyone's need for renewable energy. Unfortunately, with its minimal press coverage, renewable energy provided by the wave generator will very likely take far longer than necessary to come to market.
