Uneasy Heart, Fumbling Soul

H. Kris Thomas
A fumbling soul craves a chill in the warmth;
Is pushed to the fire in the cold.
An uneasy heart falls away and then returns to you--
Holding you tight before letting you go;
Turning away;
Leaving you choking on the dust kicked up on its way out.
