Uneasy Sits the Head that Wears the Crown

B.L.L

Uneasy sits the head that wears the crown

With all the royal servants standing by the throne

Instead of a smile, there is a frown

As they all think of him as a big clown

Alone, in a crowd, he sits with a moan

"The sun in my heart", he says, "it once had shone"

Faces wearing masks, people adopting manners

Loyalty that has no existence

They brag about it, it is written on banners

They will never give up, they are filled with persistence

Uneasy sits the head that wears the crown

With all the right to hang or drown

Yet, that is the chance they await

With fake patience, they are charged up with hate

That pleasure, to them, he will not give

Being deceived is one thing, but he would rather live

Rather live to feel and cause pain

Some would think he has lost his mind

Yet, that's the first sign that he is very much sane

People, as such, are very hard to find
