What to do when you're out of work. So you've applied everywhere you could think of; places you would like to work at along with places you wouldn't. So what should you do to keep your mind going? You try hard to think positive, yet the bills just keep piling up and let's face it, you've got to eat. What should you do in an effort to take your mind off all the negatives? Have you considered gaming? Online gaming is huge and you can find just about any game imaginable on the web to play, most for free. Search web engines such as Yahoo; provide a host of different games for their users; some of which can be played versus the computer or with a group of people.

Not only are action packed, entertaining games on web engines but they can also be found on just about every social networking site there is. There's something for everyone. Social gaming networks have made a fortune from having so many different players joining their applications and playing frequently. Who knows, you might just get an idea of how to make your own game you think would catch on as well. Good mind strategy games such as Bejeweled and Jig Saw puzzles can help keep that brain of yours constantly thinking. Get relaxed playing your favorite childhood games such as Bingo, Checkers or Go Fish. Or you can play more adult orientated games such as 8-ball pool, Literati, Mafia Wars, etc.

Keep in mind that playing games with others online could be a good way to socialize and make new friends. Plus, you never know who is on the other end; just might be someone who could help you with your job search. So don't look at playing games as a waste of time, it just might be the networking tool you need to get back into the work force. It's all up to you. For once you make the call. Have fun playing and good luck with your job search!

Important: You should only play games from websites you are familiar with. Remember, while gaming online and sharing information with others across the web you don't know can be beneficial, it can also be harmful. The Internet is a valuable tool for you but it's also a breeding ground for scammers, hackers and thieves, who only want to cause you and your computer harm. So, take caution which websites you roam to and keep in mind not to exchange personal information such as your home address or your social security number with anyone.
