There was a terrible snow storm and my daughter and I decided to go shopping in a town, alittle farther away. So it started to snow, and the snow came down really quick. So I said to my daughter we had better get home. We were headed home, and the roads were very slippery. So slippery that I was really frightened. Well there was a big hill coming up, so I saw these teenagers on the side of the road. And i said, " could one of you boys drive me home, and after we get there I will pay you, and my husband will bring you back. He is better at driving in the snow than me. So my little girl who was only 3 at the time, was scared and so was I. So this teenager got in the car, by invite, and started driving the car down the steep hill. well I was really scared. So I said I hope you can make it down this hill. The teenager said, I'll try lady, but I don't have a licence. So I really got upset, and said o well, better you than me. I hope we'll be alright.
So we pulled up outside our house up on a hill, and my husband came out. I said to my husband, could you please take this boy home. But please be careful, the roads are really slippery. I payed the boy and my husband took him back where i picked him up at, and he got out. So much for me driving in the snow.
The next one is about the older man I got acquainted with at dunken donuts. I was having coffee, and it was near thanksgiving. He said he wasn't having thanksgiving, there was nobody to cook for him. So i invited him to my house with my family to share thanksgiving with us. He was alittle old, but I went to his house and picked him up for thanksgiving. He was a very nice guest, however one of my grandchildren said he pulled out a pocket knife to show the kids.
So after dinner I took him home. Then i realized the danger I was in. So I havn't done that again.
There was the story of the man that came up to my car window in broad daylight and exposed himself. while i was reading a book. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. I was really scared. i screamed and jumped behind the drivers side of the car, and took off. A few minutes later I came back and waited for my husband to come out of the office he was in. I was reading a very good book. I was so scared, I almost had the baby right then and there.
Then there was the charming man that I met at the theartre. He was so dignified and very wealthy I might add. If I had it to do over again I would pick a man just like this. However, i am married and old.
When I was young, to young, my neighbor and I were hitchhiking to a nearby town. And we got a ride. The man picked us up and took us right up to the front door of where I lived. He made me get out of the car, and go and ring the bell. I told him I didn't need to ring the bell because I lived here. But he insisted that I ring the bell. So i rang the bell and my mother and father came to the door. And he made me tell them, where he found me. i am ever so grateful that i was picked up by somebody good, and not bad.
There have been so many wonderful people in my life. And there just ins't space enough to tell of them all. These are just a few, unforgetable people.

Post a CommentLesley Jackson Cymraes and other names Merry Lesley Jackson, Cymraes, and lots more .A little about me A bitter old woman from wales who was born into a family of farmers, and bought up in a rural part of the Welsh Marches, in the mid ’50′. I am a phoney witch who has nothing better to do than to trawl the internet looking to cyberbully. I know there’s allot of talk about being Granny taught within certain, er, fluffy circles online, but I’m one of the rare bunch who really were… well not quite- i wrote it for attention and drew a proposed publishing contract form Andborough Publishing from the owner Pamela Anders Yarborough. So if you want to get published or draw attention to yourself just lie, cheat, cyberbully and voila!! I know… this is the route I follow, building on the basis of his teachings and formulating my own victims which i choose carefully. During the interim i stalk and post but hey lying has paid off.Publishing contract for what?

Hmm, quite the spectrum here. It sure is important to let people know that they matter to us.
