Unique Baby Names for 2009

LubbyPop
Living in the United States, I prefer to choose unique baby names that can be easily assimilated to the American Culture leaving as little room as possible for any pronunciation errors or stereotypes. In this process, I have come up with a fairly long list of names for both boys and girls. I am a firm believer that each child should eventually become familiar with the origin and meaning of there name. My message to all of the parents-to-be...........make sure you know the origin and meaning before you select a name for your baby to come.

Rare names on my Baby Boy list include the following; Aamir - originating from India, meaning -prosperous or Niyol - originating from the Navajo Indian tribe, meaning - wind or Sivan - originating from Kurd, meaning - Sheppard or Tanvir - originating from India, meaning - strong or Tahir - originating from Hebrew / Arabia meaning - pure.

Unique names in my Baby Girl list include the following; Morgandy - of Celtic origination meaning - a little one from the sea's edge or Adisa - of Ashanti of Ghana origination meaning - the one will teach us or Dafina - of Swahili origination meaning - valuable or precious or Kenyatta - of African origination meaning - one who is a musician or Johari - of Swahili origin meaning - jewel or Makeeda - Ethiopian origination meaning - the beautiful or Renata - Swedish origination meaning - born again or Saran - originating in Guinea meaning - joy.

All of these names share a deep root in culture that is rich in history. Any parent choosing any one of the names listed have the ease by which the name is pronounced. Giving my son and daughter a name was a very pleasing point in my life. It made me feel as though I was naming my masterpiece work of art. I wanted to choose a name that would help guide my child from infancy to adulthood on values, morals and ethics that my family takes great pride in. I want my child to know to know that a great deal of thought was given in giving them a name and my husband and I could not wish for anything other than a path filled with eternal bliss.
