Unique Bars in Los Angeles

Seven Grand

Seven Grand is a real authentic "whiskey" bar-slash-saloon. Seven Grand serves up over three hundred premium whiskeys, rare ryes, and small bourbon batches. Seven Grand also carry unique (and exclusive) Makers Mark dipped cigars. The ambiance is rustic, dark, and the charm is in their walnut bar counter, stuffed animals, and a one hundred and fifty year old pool table(s). Beer is served, and they carry twelve of them on tap.

Please keep in mind that they do enforce a strict enough dress code, so don't go in there wearing flip-flops. It's not that kind of place. There's no cover charge.

The Edison

If you're ready to get dressed up and time travel back to a much simpler time, like the 20's, then The Edison is your ticket to an out of this world experience. Situated in the old Southern California Edison plant in Downtown Los Angeles, it has been re-imagined as a throwback bar to the days of the boppers. The Edison has kept all of the original architecture of the power plant and added a flourish or two.

The Edison enforces a strict dress code, so be sure to dress to impress. For weekend partying, it is imperative that you arrive before 10pm otherwise you will probably not get in as they do hold the line. There's no cover charge unless they have a special event going on.
