Unique and Budget-Friendly Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Party Game Ideas

phoenix
The most exciting part in a birthday party after cake is games. Depending on the age of kids coming in the birthday party you can decide which games to play.

For a Mickey Mouse clubhouse party, here are some really interesting, budget friendly and unique game ideas. They are definitely going to be a big hit with kids. This is what we did in a recent Birthday party we hosted:

1. Blindfold "find Mickey's ears" game: This is one such game where kids of all ages enjoy the game. Using the same technique as mentioned in the article of How to create Mickey Mouse cutout. take the print of a full body template and glue it to make a big Mickey Mouse poster. It can be a colored one or black and white. These pictures will give a better idea. Using self sticking foam sheets cut some outline shape of Mickey Mouse or Toodles. Make them as many as there are kids and you can have couple of more extra. Place the sheet on a wall in such a way that the youngest kid can reach to Mickey Mouse ears. Let all the kids stand in a line and one by one give them a sticker, tell them to properly look at the picture and then tell them to put the sticker on Mickey Mouse ears. While waiting in the line other kids can shout O Toodles !!! and say little up or little down to distract the player. At the end whoever has placed the sticker nearest to the ears gets a prize. To make it more interesting you can have three more prizes for sticking it to face, tummy and hand of Mickey Mouse too. Kids enjoy how others place the sticker nowhere near the ears and also with the surprise prize.

2. Mickey Mouse clubhouse Bowling Game: Get a kids bowling set red, blue and yellow from superstores like Walmart. They are usually $5 or so. From a shop like Party City take colorful paper cutouts of Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters around 2 to 2.5" height. It is around $1. Using craft glue stick on the bowling pins. Let dry. Stick toodles cutout on the ball. Now let kids do bowling. Depending on time decide how many turns they get. If there are around 10 kids you can allow them 2 chances. Keep a score sheet and whoever gets maximum points is the winner. You can give prizes to upto 3 winners. If your party has adults too they might also join. It is a good idea to have some extra prizes.

3. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Treasure Hunt: Make big circles in Red, yellow and blue colors and stick them on the floor in a simple pattern like a walkway. Have two circles of different sizes, one should be smaller than the rest of the circles and one biggest. Divide kids in two groups. Smallest circle is the starting point and the biggest is the end point. On each circle make some shapes like rectangle, square, triangle, star, octagon, pentagon. On rectangular paper write a clue as to how to go to the next circle. Fold it two times. On the top of the sheet draw the symbols you made on circles.. Hide these all around the party room. One member from each team will move on the circles as the other team members start solving the clues one by one. Member of whichever team reached the last circle named end is the winner. You can give a chocolate bar to each of the team members as a prize. For younger kids you can simplify the game by numbering the circles so they will know which circle to go to. The clue of the number will be in the rectangular folded paper pieces. Complexity of the clue will depend on the age of kids attending the party.Make sure you have two sets of clues as both teams will progress simultaneously. If the party is during day time and in a park, then you can do the same outdoors. Use small pegs to secure the circle.

4. Mickey Mouse clubhouse dance party: This works well when you have a disco ball, some Mickey Mouse party songs and a party in a party hall in the evening. You can do variations in this by stopping the music and tell kids to do something like make a group of 3. Whoever is alone or a group of two is out of the game. Continue with the rest of the kids. One more way of making them know all the guests, is to say find Nicholas. All kids usually run to Nicholas, if still someone takes too much time to figure out, he is out of the game. This way it continues till there is one participant left. He gets the biggest prize but the runner up gets a prize too. You can have a fancy box with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse related items, like Mickey mouse clubhouse characters stickers, light balls with Mickey or other character's photo on it, Jumbo crayons of Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme etc.

5. Play Area for infants: Best game for infants is to have a designated area filled with soft toys of Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters. You can ask your guests to bring soft toys of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald and Daisy. This way parents get a break and infants love to see so many soft toys. It is a good idea to have a play mat on the floor and sanitize the toys before giving to infants. For infants, you can get under $5 soft toy of Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters in a nicely wrapped gift box, at the end of the party as favor as they will not be able to compete.

6. Surprise gifts: This is only for those kids who did not get any prize and are more than two year old. Create a game on the spot if needed. You can ask kids some questions and whoever answers first gets a prize. It will be a good idea to make the questions Mickey Mouse clubhouse specific or about the birthday boy or girl. You can ask what is the name of the dog whose name is that of a planet too? Answer is Pluto. You may ask how old is the birthday girl or boy today and so on. The purpose is to make sure all the kids get some gifts and feel confident that they can win too. Whoever wins is out of the game. Then ask questions to the rest of the kids. Try to keep the gifts similar for each winner in this game.
