Are you one of the thousands of women who struggle with gift ideas, no matter what holiday or how well you know the person? Are you on a limited budget this year? Are you looking for a gift idea that's unique or creative? Below are some clever gift ideas for your boyfriend or husband, no matter what your budget may be!

Free or Under $10

Hobby Date

- What is one of your guy's favorite hobbies?

- Does he like playing a sport, perhaps tennis or basketball? Maybe he can show you some moves.

- Does he enjoy an outdoor hobby like skiing or hiking? Give him a peak at your adventurous side!

- Maybe he likes a different genre of films than you - like westerns or action. Go rent a few and cuddle up on the couch, with some popcorn.

- It may not be one of your interests, but showing him you're willing to give something he loves a try will surely put a smile on his face!

Photo Collage

- Have a bunch of photos of you two? Instead of just framing them - make a collage!

- If you don't have many already, take a photo day sometime before Valentine's Day, or even just carry along a camera, and capture some of your special moments!

- If you have any other mementos laying around, feel free to include them. Maybe tickets to a movie or concert or a note he wrote you one morning.

Gift from an Artist

- Do you enjoy painting or writing in your spare time? Give him some one of your paintings or poems - or create something special just for him!

- Another creative idea is knitting a scarf or hat for him. He'll be reminded of you every time he goes outside. If you don't know how to knit, it's quite easy to learn, and he'll be amazed that you learned something new just for this special day!

- Do you both like to paint or sculpt or write in your spare time? Why not create a piece of art or a story together. You'll an even deeper bond, knowing your passions came together in such a beautiful way!

Under $25

Breakfast Date

- Restaurants are packed with dinner reservations on Valentine's Day, so why don't you go out to breakfast!

- Try out a new cafe, you've both been curious about, or go to one of your shared favorites!

- Do you both work long days? This idea is great, as it will keep you thinking of each other all day and give you the evening to just relax without the stress of getting all dolled up for your dinner reservation.

Make Him a Meal

- Instead of going out to eat, why don't you make him a special meal of his favorite eats - for breakfast lunch, dinner or all three!

- He'll love all the effort you put into pleasing him, and you'll know he'll enjoy the dish!

$25 and Up

Entertainment Date

- Has he been anticipating a play coming up? Did his favorite band just schedule a local show? Is his favorite team playing soon? Scoop up 2 tickets to treat him to some entertainment!

- He'll be thrilled that you took the time to find out the event and that you're interested in coming along!

Spice up his usual relaxing activity

- Does he keep his car in tip top condition and show it off whenever he can? Get him some complimentary seat covers or an automatic car starter.

- Does he relax by watching movies on the couch or playing the newest video game? Give him a new, hi-tech dvd player or video game system or pre-order a game he's been raving about.

- Does he enjoy drinking with friends over the weekend? Does he enjoy mixology? Then, get him a book on cocktails and a new shaker or glasses. Does he prefer beer? Pick up an unusual case of beer from a lesser-known microbrewery or buy him a make your own beer kit.
