Matthew Steed
Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is known the world over for world-class attractions such as Space Mountain and it's a small world but you'd hard-pressed to name some of the Magic Kingdom's restaurants. Yes, restaurants. While there are plenty of counter service (Disney-speak for fast food) location within the Magic Kingdom - and some are surprisingly good - there are also some good restaurants that offer unique dining experiences. Here are the Magic Kingdom's full service restaurants and a brief description of each.

Note that reservations are suggested for these restaurants and can be made at your hotel's front desk, at Guest Services in the Magic Kingdom, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Set in Liberty Square (appropriately), the Liberty Tree Traven is modeled after a Colonial tavern and offers traditional American favorites such as pot roast, clam chowder, and turkey in addition to other soups and sandwiches.

The Crystal Palace
At the end of Main Street USA is the Crystal Palace, a Victorian style restaurant that holds a secret inside. Once you step in, you're transported to the Hundred Acre Wood with Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Enjoy a buffet-style meal set amid whimsical topiaries featuring Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and other Pooh friends. And you'll even catch Pooh and his pals stopping by to make this character dining experience a one of a kind.

The Plaza Restaurant
Enjoy turn of the century dining at the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street USA. Set amid Victorian elegance, you can enjoy deli-style sandwiches, hamburgers, and even sweet treats form the old-fashioned soda fountain.
