There are many different gifts that you can have engraved, painted or embroidered with your child's name or birth date or with a personal message. Here are some unique gifts that kids of all ages would love to receive for Easter.

Embroidered Easter Bunny

Younger kids will love personalized Easter bunny. Pick out a plush bunny in your child's favorite color and have its clothing embroidered with your his or her name. Or, if you have the time and inclination, you can embroider the Easter bunny yourself. If you want make this gift yourself, but don't have very much time, you could get some fabric paints and paint your child's name on the bunny's clothes. For an added touch, place the bunny inside a basket with some other goodies on Easter morning.

Personalized Easter Basket

Get a wicker Easter gift basket with a lining that's been embroidered with your child's name. Alternatively, you could get a metal basket and have your child's name painted on. If you have some sewing or artistic skills, you could personalize the Easter gift basket yourself. Fill the Easter basket with toys and candy you know your child loves.

Homemade Easter Cookies

Make some basic sugar cookies in spring-themed shapes such as flowers, Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, chicks and carrots. For best results, make the cookies relatively large. Frost them in white and pastel colors. Then use a frosting bag with a thin decorator tip to draw your child's name, favorite shapes and personal messages on the Easter cookies.

Easter Chocolate Treat Bags

Get some small plastic treat bags. Then cut some pieces of card stock to fit the bags and customize them with your child's name and a personal message. For more flair, choose card stock in pastel colors. Fill the Easter treat bags with your kids' favorite chocolate candies, then use double-sided tape to attach the card stock to the top of the treat bags.

Engraved Jewelry

Personalized jewelry makes a wonderful Easter gift for an older child. For a girl, consider getting a charm bracelet, ring or set of earrings with her birthstone. You can also have jewelry such as lockets and necklace pendants engraved with your child's name or initials. If you're buying jewelry for a boy, think of getting him an engraved baseball, soccer or basketball pendant. A monogrammed set of cuff links or an engraved ring or watch would also make an excellent unique Easter gift for a boy.
