Share A Little Sweetness
Make Unique Easter Party Invitations Using Holiday Treats
Many modern Easter traditions center around the sweet treats of the season, like chocolate bunnies, cream-filled eggs, and marshmallow chicks. These iconic images of Easter can be a vibrant, playful source for unique Easter party invitations. Try writing your party details (date, time, etc.) on a ribbon with a fabric marker and then wrapping the ribbon around a chocolate bunny in a big, festive bow. Or, print your party information onto a sticker using your personal computer and printer, and then slap the sticker onto a box of marshmallow chicks. Unique Easter party invitations are as plentiful as the many different treats of the season, so pick your favorite holiday sweet and get started!
Sneak In An Extra Surprise
Turn Store Bought Cards Into Unique Easter Party Invitations With A Little Something Extra
You don't have to put a lot of effort into making unique Easter party invitations that will delight your guests. In fact, you don't even have to make your own unique Easter party invitations from scratch. Just buy a set of Spring or Easter themed party invitations from the store, and tuck a little something extra into the envelopes before you seal them. Try a handful of bright plastic grass, the kind that would be tucked into an Easter basket. Throw in a handful of shiny confetti, or snips of festive pastel ribbon. For unique Easter party invitations perfect for a child's party, buy a few sheets of Easter themed stickers, cut them up into small clusters of stickers, and tuck a few clusters into each envelope. The little bit of extra thought will make opening your unique Easter party invitations a true delight.
Have A Mailbox Basket Hunt
Make Your Unique Easter Party Invitations A "Hunt" Of Their Own
The Easter basket hunt is a holiday classic, and there are few traditions that more fully capture the fun of being a kid. However, basket hunts aren't just for children: you can use the basket hunt theme to create truly unique Easter party invitations. To make this happen, send your guests a series of postcards that will make up a "hunt" which culminates in finding the "basket," aka the details about where and when your Easter party will be. For example, on the first day you might send out postcards like these to your invitees: a picture of a cup of coffee and a message along the lines of "Good Morning! This postcard is the start of your Easter Morning Basket Hunt. Keep checking your mail for clues over the next few days: if you're lucky, you'll find your basket on Friday!" Over the rest of the week, send out more postcards that show common Easter basket hiding places, and say "It's not here. . ." or "Keep looking!" Then, after three or four postcards, send out a final card that shows a picture of a beautiful Easter basket, and has a message inviting your guests to the party! This idea takes a bit of planning, but the unique Easter party invitations that result are well worth the trouble.
