Hair For Halloween Costume
Mess it up as best as you can. After all, you have been beat up by fans and run over by a vehicle. Women you may put your hair in ponytails. If you put your hair in ponytails you can put ribbons that match the rival football team's colors.
Face Make-up For Halloween Costume
Put on your make-up as usual. Make a black eye under one eye. Use Halloween make-up or a black eyeliner. Next put on the football team's logo on your face. I used a blue star on my cheek to stand for the Dallas Cowboys. If you have an old pair of glasses, break them and use silver Duct Tape to "fix" them. Be sure to take out the glass part if you wear contacts. I wore a Band-Aid on one side of my face. I also put Band-Aids on my hands and one arm.
Football Sweatshirt For Halloween Costume
Buy a white sweatshirt at a discount store such as Walmart or look for an old sweatshirt you no longer want in your closet. I suggest you use a white sweatshirt so it will be easier for other people to read. Take a black magic marker and write the rivals team name all over the sweatshirt. List the quarterback of the football team and some of the top football players. Example: "I LOVE (or use a red magic marker and draw a heart) Deon Sanders!" This is one of the sentences I used back when I made my costume. Draw a football on your sweatshirt. If you are somewhat artistic draw a football helmet of your rival team on your sweatshirt. Now the fun part: Use black spray paint or any type of black paint you may have at home. If not, buy some at a discount store. Spray or paint your vehicle tire. Next run over your sweatshirt so you leave the tire tracks on your sweatshirt. Lastly use fake blood or draw fake blood on your sweatshirt that looks splattered.
On the back of your sweatshirt in loud and proud letters write: "The Green Bay Packers were here!" (Fill-in your team.)
Pants
Wear any type of pants you choose. You may rip holes in your pants to make them look as tattered as possible.
Shoes or Boots For Your Halloween Costume
I had an old pair of black boots and I cut an uneven hole in them. In the hole I put fake red blood on my white sock to look like a chunk of my foot was taken out. I had an Ace bandage in our closet and I wrapped my ankle with it. You can buy an Ace bandage at a discount store most likely in the pharmacy section or online.
Fun With Your Halloween Costume
Now you are set in your unique football Halloween costume. You can change your football team to your college or high school team's rival, too. Or even change it to another sport such as soccer or baseball. You may even win a Halloween prize with this unique football Halloween costume.
