MAAS Nursery specializes in organic gardening, from their plant offerings to landscaping, organizing, and providing trees, bushes, flowers and all sorts of soil additives. Their sole focus is on being a commercial venture that can make money by providing the best organically raised plants available in the Houston market. Everything else, from landscaping tips and their extensive web site information area falls under their umbrella as an organic and environmentally friendly place to do business. Their home is located right on the commercial site, along with shade garden plant areas, a bamboo and mature tree zone, a special place for landscaping rocks and hardscape materials, roses, bulbs and even water feature displays. Two of the areas near by the main center and parking lot are areas for bedding plants and tropicals. Contact them from the following information:

Though not as special as the Maas Nursery, Houston Garden Centers are real full service treats to people who want both variety, quality and great pricing on plants and garden supplies. They're open from 9-8 Monday through Sunday and 8-8 on Saturdays. There are several Houston locations always offering specials that can beat most all other stores in the area. Keep in mind that these good prices come at a cost. They are usually not locally grown stock. The other goods like fertilizers, mulch, soil amendments, and garden tools are a great buy here. And some on their specials almost sound too good to be true. Just shop wisely and weigh the value of what you're buying against what you want. I've picked just one address from the many Houston locations for a starting point.
