For thirty five years Geoff did his drafting the old fashioned way, by hand. Less than a year ago, he switched to using a computer and the results have been excellent. "This is so effective. I've been drafting for 35 years and doing this for 8-9 months and I would not go back to the old ways. It brings it to an entirely different level," he says excitedly. "I can make a 3-D model of a clients existing home, or design a completely new home. Most people can't see in 3-D, so they get really excited about it because they can actually see what the home will look like."

As a respected architect and general contractor who is licensed in both Oregon and Washington, Geoff knows how important it is to listen to his clients. "I'll bring my laptop into a clients home and talk to them about what they think they want. Then I can put my interpretation of that on the computer. This 3-D program is such a powerful tool because I can make changes right in front of the client. It's exciting." Geoff and his design team (Francis Cerdan, Corey and Mindy Riddell and Carol Spinos) specialize in fancy, high end cabinetry, columns and classic interior room design.

"What I like the most about being an architect is making people ecstatic," he says. "When I have a client who is overjoyed then I know I have done my job. I always try to exceed my clients expectations as that is what my job is all about."

Geoff' and his wife Priscilla also own and operate Steamboat Mountain Minerals Project, a mining company, from their home office.
